The story of NRB Residence begins long before NRB Residence itself.

For more than a decade, Probashi Palli Group has been associated with the idea of creating dedicated housing opportunities for Bangladeshis living overseas.

The Group's journey around Probashi Palli began with a vision of creating a specialised residential opportunity for Non-Resident Bangladeshis and connecting their hard-earned overseas income with meaningful real estate ownership in Bangladesh. The Group records its initial expression of interest in developing Probashi Palli Abashon at a seminar held at Hotel Sonargaon on 20 June 2007.

That vision continued to develop through Purbachal Probashi Palli. The Group's own project history records NRB-focused activities in London, including a plot handover programme in 2009 and a seminar focused specifically on the problems and prospects of NRB investment in Bangladesh.

This history matters.

Because NRB Residence is not an idea created without context.

It is the next chapter of an NRB-focused journey.

The world has changed since those early days.
